I was reading up on modern myth & found out about The Great Khali, a man considered to be a giant. Naturally I wanted to know more. I found a video of him arm wrestling. Then I came up with the idea for this thread. Of the two, which is more anticlimactic from a spectators perspective: Wrestling or Golf? You wait what seems like an eternity only to find out you should have been doing something else all along. Even reality TV is better, or actually "doing something." I don't want to make this a poll thread because I have a feeling there are even more boring sports to watch. Please help me decide once & for all which is the least interesting.

Wrestling... you've seen one match you've seen 'em all... I guessed Khali would win because he's obviously the most popular. Guess what?

I find it entertaining to watch Curling actually... thinking about the strategies involved... but I'm really weird.
I don't even bother watching pro wrestling, although my sister is an amatuer wrestler (you know, the actual sport kind of wrestling). An anti-climatic thing to watch... uh, a halo match.

I don't bother to watch it either, wait. Lets clear something up. I love Golf, a lot, it's super duper fun. If you get mad you lose! You have to take things one step at a time. See what you intend to do, and follow through with it. Sometimes you do better than you hope!
Chip shots are the most fun for me. I play golf video games too. I have two of them! I suggest True Swing golf for the DS, it's so fun with two players!
I think I'm going to say Wrestling is the least interesting thing to watch still. It's not genuine, I feel like I'm watching some form of Dragon Ball Z when I see it. Now with golf, people fall into lakes, break & throw clubs. It's boring to watch MOST of the time.

Yeah, I used to do a bit of golf, and my favorite part of the sport was chipping. Just hitting the ball and seeing it fly up onto the green... I was actually pretty decent at getting out of sand traps if I remember right.

They are both boring to watch... but golf more so. Don't get me wrong, golf is a great game... if you're playing it. Watching golf is like watching the grass grow, only not as interesting. My favourite part of golf... getting to hit the ball . I just think it is an all around fun game.

I've yet to find a sport that isn't boring to watch.

Which is the most tedious? I was thinking some Olympic event, except thay are all awesome by default. Maybe water-polo, or that ribbon on a stick thing...

Things like darts or golf are usually the worst. Most of it is just watching someone aim for hours and then you blink and miss the only action there is. So of the two original options, definately golf.

My GF won't let me play Golf... She fears for the collateral damage. Is she afraid you'll get hit by a drive or something? Because while getting hit by one hurts like hell (not personal experience, but I know a friend of a friend who did), and there have been major injuries from hits to the head, it's not that common and you have to screw up majorly to not see the people at the other hole. And then they should yell fore, which tells you to get the hell out of dodge.

Has anyone other than me seen every Bob Newhart Show, then every episode of Newhart? I know it's a stretch, but in the long run it all equated into one large (golf related) joke.
T'was hysterical, & Good Clean Fun. The kind of show(S) you can write home about.
