I know what a Pikey is, though I don't think I've ever seen one.
We do have some utter wankers here though. Chav's the best term for them really. They even have their own kind of accent. Seriously, you haven't heard anything as disgusting as the Welsh accent in chav form.
Also, Alice, you do have a very, very strong accent... even I noticed it o.0

St. Annes and Blackpool are terrible for chavs and teenage pregnancy. Seriously going to Blackpool town centre is like entering some scummy alternate-dimension that you just can't feel comfortable in until you enter the local gamestation, GAME or Games Workshop. Instead of saying its where the nerds gather, its more reminiscent of a safe-house from L4D2.
Not far away in Preston we have the gathering of the Scene kids, too. Seriously what the hell is wrong with the north-west.

^However, Lytham is lovely. Isn't that like right between Blackpool and St. Annes? My boyfriend has an auntie who lives in America, but she comes down to stay at her house in Lytham sometimes and we go to visit her. It's a gorgeous place I live in Tyldesley (Manchester). We have a surpluss of chavs here too ¬_¬

Dangeresque, most of us in Britain DO know how to pronounce our 't's. I don't know many people who say 'bri'ish' at all Let's hear you do some "H's" "'e is an 'alibut." And some "TH's" "'frud the Barbahrian."

Theres a council estate around the corner from me and theres constant sirens from there, one of my friends was mugged on the way to his home (Literally just around the corner) by some guys on said estate. The transition is quite amazing from St.Annes -> Lytham -> Blackpool.

@breaker: What's strange about pronouncing but with a "b" and to/too/two with the "t"... I thought that's how they were supposed to be pronounced... unless I read that wrong-like. I meant the 't's in those words. I meant that in some words 'T' come out as 'd' and sometimes 't', like how at times I don't pronounce 'r'. I'll blame poor choice of word on my part. Cheers!

It's supposed to be 'cull-uh', not 'coll-orrh' >_<

LOL, Correct on the 'erb. I think it's just lazyness on Americans part.
Myself, I always say "colour and armour" again I think it's the lazy shortening of words.
Don't even get me started on people who "aks" me questions.

I laugh when people say 'uman an 'umor.
And Alice, we don't pronounce the U in color because to us it doesn't exist!

I'm American. Do Americans have an accent? Do people in other questions think Americans have a heavy accent? Do Americans have an accent so heavy, it doesn't sound like an accent? Do Americans not have an accent? These questions have always been on my mind.

C'mon now, even in America we have four or five distinct accents. We have the Mid Western accent, the east coast "Philly" accent, there are at least two southern accents, a surfer kind of accent, the Wisconsin (Canadian) accent, Hawaiians, at least the ones I've met, speak in a very relaxed Pigeon based accent. And the majority of our country's residents have a very thick Mexican accent. So open your ears homeboy. You live in all kinds of diversity, accent wise.

That actually sounds like Spanish pronunciation with the "eeet" bits.
I also like how their V's and B's are reversed, IE: Verona is pronounced "Behrona."
Americans use burst sounds, "ihT" for it.

Thlaylie: What should I recite? I'm not sure I want you all analysing my voice haha! Julio: I was amused by you guys' accents too. But you both were like 'Ah! British accent!' and then I was kind of shy about talking too much I get embarrassed easily. You should talk to Psychichobo or Psychodrake and make fun of their accents too XD
