Welcome to the first.2 of many Word Warrior challenges.
This game can be played by 2-4 players, of which I am none.
Each letter has a predetermined point value to be added up in each answer, governing the overall points gained that turn. I'll ration out seven tiles to each player (via PM) at the beginning, & replenish them as needed (via PM) throughout the match. The first person to arrange their letters to spell an acceptable English word, & PM it to the judge (me) will receive a double word score for their initiative. The players are then placed randomly around the game board. Play continues clockwise.
Traditionally, blank tiles are of no point value what-so-ever.
However, my house rule is points are granted for whatever it is used as.
A blank tile represents the letter it is first played as for the remainder of the game.
A circle confers a point value multiplier to the letter residing in the same space as it. Diamonds confer a point value multiplier to whole words. After all letters & bonuses (save BINGO) are added. Single line, double line & triple line bonus markers confer a double, triple & even quadruple multiplier respectively. Should a word land on multiple word score bonus spaces, only the largest one will be used. There will be no double dipping. In the event a player manages to play all seven tiles (BINGO) in their possession, a fifty point reward is bestowed unto them. Shall we begin?
-Round One- In Progress
Player 1: Hellbreaker
Player 2: Dangeresque
Player 3: Alta
Player 4: Captain Leela
