Ah, the one on the left isn't Riki? I musta got names mixed up. I blame youtube. Yeah, the dark-haired girl's the one currently melting my heart.
And make-up? Fuck right off, girls don't need make-up to look good. A girl looks at her prettiest when she's not all dolled up. The only thing a girl needs to look good is a smile.
Seriously, both of those girls are beauties. I just prefer the one on the left cos of her big eyes and smile. She smiles with those eyes, man. But the other girl's gorgeous too.
It's funny, I posted this just to see how it'd all develop. We've gone through the video's style, rap and make-up. Madness. If this were on the Hive, it would've died by the top of the second page... sigh...

yeah, that shit aint right, and no matter how much those chics say they don't do it for attention, they do. People don't 'normally' put on a face of white make-up with back lipstick and eye-liner 'just because they think it looks cool' they are SO doing it for attention, which is horrible, if they want attention they should, idk, get a personality. [edit] psychichobo: Thats what I like about this place, we can have actual discussions without being afraid of a thread getting locked. This really isnt that off topic, we are still in a way talking about the video... kinda... maybe... sorta

When you're with a girl, remember these things, she'll quiz you on them later: Her eye colour. Her full name (including middle name!). Where she lives (DUMBASS).

It hurts me when guys focus so much on what a girl looks like, they don't even bother to know who she is.
Like I had been hanging out with a guy a few years ago when I was single- he'd invited me out for drinks a few times, and then at the end of the fourth date, he said 'goodnight Alison'. I never bothered with him again. It really hurt.

Now Alice I have yet to see a picture of you where you haven't done something with your makeup and take care with your appearance.
It's not shallow, it's just that if girl cares little about how she looks to you, then she cares little.

And not knowing someones name isn't a typical male thing, just a typical male thing if he doesn't care about you, or care enough to get to know you. I, however have an excuse, I just plain forget peoples names sometimes xD. It can even be someone I have know for over a year and I'll randomly forget their name. Don't know why, but it gets quite annoying, but I always remember faces though.

Now Alice I have yet to see a picture of you where you haven't done something with your makeup and take care with your appearance. It's not shallow, it's just that if girl cares little about how she looks to you, then she cares little. You're right, I DO take care of my appearence- I love getting my hair done, and I enjoy wearing make-up. But I don't think I wear over-the-top make-up, and I only wear what makes ME feel happy. I care about my appearence because it gives me confidence. I certainly don't do it because my boyfriend expects it- in fact, he always says he prefers me without make-up, and often sits there tutting when I'm getting ready to go out. But he tells me I'm beautiful either way- that's how I know he loves me for who I am. I always figured that a guy who cares whether or not I wear any make-up cares little. I'm getting a shower in a bit, and then I'm getting ready for an evening out, but I can take a picture without make-up first and post it for comparison if it'll make you happy. If you think it looks hideously ugly, I won't care

Seeing as no one has mentioned this yet. The gentleman looks much more appetizing then either of the young ladies. Yum strong silent types.

so... are you saying it's the guy who has to look good? Are you talking to me or... ? If so I think you may have missed the point of what I was saying lol. Why do you assume one of them 'has to look good?'... isn't that dependent completely on what your tastes are? Everybody's opinion of beauty is different. Personally I don't rate looks very highly when it comes to men I like. I would love my boyfriend even if he looked completely different. Yes, I fancy him, but I'm happy that he feels comfortable enough not to feel the need to change himself for me. If he wants to cut his hair short, I won't mind, or if he wants to wear the jeans I don't like, it won't make me like him any less lol. And your quote itself suggests that you believe the girl in a relationship has to be better looking than the boy, is that right? You imply that the girl should look good by saying 'it's the' at the beginning; i.e. only one of them has to look good. And I assume by 'look good' you mean 'take care over their appearence'. Why not both, or none of them? What does it matter? I don't think either parnter should be obligated to hide their natural appearence for the other.

^ no, I was talking to Hosh... I really have to start quoting people...
I Think both people should 'look good'. But when I say that I mean they should take care of themselves. a girl doesn't have to wear make-up and the guy doesn't have to dress nicly, but rather both persons should make sure they 'look good'. Such as making sure they aren't a mess. I mean, I know you love your boyfriend, but would you want to be seen with him if he haddent showered in a few days? Had on clothes with tons of stains, or kiss him if he haddent brushed his teeth in a while? That's what I ment by 'look good', so no, no one has to hide their appearence. I would actually perfer if my old GF haddent worn make-up, but she wanted to so i was fine with that.

We can however agree one one thing. Taking care of your appearance is of much less worth than taking care of your hygiene.
Cheers!
