I think he might actually have helped me to make my point.
It's not the makeup to the extreme, It's being hygienic and taking care of yourself.
The hip hop culture revolves around being a slacker.
Thus we get baggy pants, shoes untied, hats on sideways, and not much taking care of one's appearance because that would be effort. Effort is one thing slackers avoid at all costs.
Alice you blow the doors off those chicks, but that's not why I like you.

The hip hop culture revolves around being a slacker. Wtf.... Every rapper Works their asses off to get into the game. No rapper ever got anywhere just sitting on their ass. Thus we get baggy pants, shoes untied, hats on sideways, and not much taking care of one's appearance because that would be effort. Effort is one thing slackers avoid at all costs. Your ignorance surprises me.

^ I like baggy pants, but not back pockets at your knee baggy, rather just a bit. Much better than tight pants and the ladies like it , well at least at my school.

As a frequenter of many nerdy events, I know full well that hygiene is stupidly important. Seriously, WHY THE HELL WOULD ANYONE NOT SHOWER!? Geurgh, I try to stick up for nerds, but when some of them stink like a stray dog in a farmer's field, seriously...
Rap's a funny one. There are good rappers, Eminem's a good example. But most of them tend to play the safe game, rapping on about how hard they are and girls they've banged and if that doesn't work they 'remix' (read: ruin) another song with their lyrics.
Hip-Hop's a similar game, same with R n' B. They all play the safe game and churn out generic, repetitive rubbish and don't actually bother with determining whether anything they've made is any GOOD.
