.... While the models are nice I really just dont feel the same ZOMG TEH ARE TEH AWESOMESAUCE! feeling others are... Hmmmm though now that ive seen the new jetbikes i need to find a bunch of the old ones for conversions >.<

Ok... I thought the Raider's sail wasn't enough to push the 'Space Samurai' rumour, but that mandrake!?
Looks like my old mandrakes will have to be Wyches now. Still...
I fuckin' love those models.
Btw.... is it just me, or have GW really done some bloody terrible Codex/Army Book front covers recently?

I think it is the same guy that did the nid front cover. If only they hired the the same guys that did the Space Wolf/Skaven/High Elves covers for everything...
As for the Mandrakes, I like that they have taken this route. The original models did the fluff and concept no justice. The new route makes more sense. I also love how GW used the old mandrake design with some of the wyches so that you don't have to shelve the old models.

I did actually notice that, I was worrying that my 3 poor liddle mandrake bondage slaves wouldn't have a home, but to be fair they pass off as the new Wyches easily. Just wondering how I'll incorporate the new and old wyches. I've got some of the weird giant shoulderpads spare, so could mix and match... |

thats the only draw back................i liked DE for that they were/are i would still play with with or without an update sure the models look great but i have this feeling GW is really going to cripple them

All Dark Eldar had going for them was Dark Lance Spam.
Until now they've been god awful models, with a codex that can only really squeeze out a few decent lists.

The army had a very heavy feel of speed and fragility mind.
I think people are worried that, like Nids, we'll lose what made the army in the first place.

That Toad Dragon will be mine. It's funny, because nurgle needs big models to be an awesome army. Look at SPUZZ MAHRIENZZZ, they only need like, 4 squads of MUHRENZZZ and a couple VUNDUCK-HAT0RZZZ to reduce most any equal size army to dust. |

Local Vindicators fear my Raveners.
3 Zoanthropes did NOTHING to one over three turns. 4 Raveners got hit, one survived by going to ground, came back with a vengeance and ripped it a new one.
God I love Raveners.
