Honestly I'm surprised there isn't one of these yet. Anyway, I just wanted somewhere to talk about this stuff so, here it is. Yay.
So to start things off, what are you most looking forward to when the cataclysm hits? Personally, I'm most excited about the new races, mostly the worgen.
On the flipside of that, what are you not liking about it? My biggest problem at the moment is that hunters are switching to focus rather than mana. Sure, it makes sense I guess, but it still bugs me. I'm also not happy about Thrall stepping down as leader of the Horde, and apparently worgen aren't getting a mount. That was annoying.

I'm pretty sure the reason it took so long for a Warcraft thread to be made is because a sizeable chunk of Genners think the game is a plague upon the human race.
I personally think the game is a good thing. You see; whenever a player is killed by the game via addiction, it aids Natural Selection.

Cataclysm looks fairly solid. I've switched from Shaman to a Death Knight through WotLK, gotten extremely bored due to how easy it is and decided to level a druid for Cata which is now level 77. I hope they really bring back the TBC heroic standard, judging by various videos I've seen on the net, my wish may be granted.
I think the hunter focus thing will be complained about at first until some good rotations and such surface. There will always be some discomfort with a big overhaul like that. I also think the Worgen "Running Wild" thing is absolutely BRILLIANT. I wish Tauren's had plainsrunning still.

I must say I am pretty excited about Cataclysm. As far as Worgen go I love that they just get on all four legs and start booking it as their mount, it just makes sense. I am glad that items and stats are getting a make over. It is going to make it easy to build your character appropriately, and eliminates "those guys" that open up a spread sheet every time they get a new item and are worried about min-maxing etc. Allows the game to be more about actual skill as oppose to how good you are at math. I am overall the most excited about heroic level Shadowfang Keep and Deadmines, two of my favorite instances! Also the "guild leveling" is really cool since it promotes that people really get involved with their guild and gives them an opportunity to be rewarded for working together etc.

I don't know about troll druids. That's about it, couldn't care less though.

Damn it Hellbreaker, you suck! One of the few people I know who can play on the same servers as me without death-lag and you're not even getting it. *goes and cries in the corner*
Anywhos, as for the worgen mount thing, I'm not all that bothered with them getting a mount, although I'd rather they did. I'm just annoyed that my other alliance characters won't get to use the worgen mount, and I'm wondering if worgen will get to use other mounts. Presumably they will, or else they'd never get to fly, but still...

The new patch is brilliant, my Death Knight got a whole lot funner. My Druid is a bit weak though.

No no Helly, they changed things as well. Still, my fury warriors DPS went up by like 2k overnight, so it's not all bad.

Nha, I just heard Defence warriors could get crit'ed now. Seems kinda like... Frost shock spamming elemental Troll Shamans, just the other way around.
