I got Windows 7 for my birthday, and once I sort out an external hard drive and back up my shit, I'll be upgrading.
So; what are your experiences with Windows 7 after the upgrade?

Well I have XP as of now. My dad's an engineer at his job and managed to get us a copy of vista. Fast foward a few weeks, I went back to XP and my dad bought Windows 7 and loved it. It's a fine-tuned version of vista pretty much. I like XP mainly because I'm used to it.

I lost XP when my old PC's brain melted. I miss XP. Still, I am happy to hear that there is hope with 7.

Vista is sort of like Windows 2003 or WNT
Pass them by and wait for the new thing

I had XP, I don't want to go into it.
Long story short: I'll tell you later.
OK you talked me into it. Ah no no still kinda irritated. I need a new motherboard, & maybe a new sound card.

My sister has Windows 7 on her Laptop and I wasn't impressed. Though, to be fair, I only did the surface run...
I'll stick with XP though. Unless I want to play Stormrise, in which case I have to. Damn it all.

...yea, my computer was deep fried, so I'm stuck on a lap top running Windows '95.
Lets do the time warp?

I'm running Vista Home 64 so I can use all my memory.
It's been stable for awhile so I'm not going to upgrade until I have to.

I am running 7 and I love it. Huge improve over Vista. I try to stick with the times. Although things in the past way have been better, you just got to man up. Makes it easier to not have compatibility problems too.

I have often rode the "bleeding edge" of technology. All that blood tends to gum up the works, I'll sit back and watch for awhile. I have no compatability problems and my system is almost state of the art. Thank you for the consideration? Only in an online forum would the terms "man up" and "operating system" be used together....

I finally got to mess around on a computer with Windows 7. A bit to similar to a Mac for my tastes, but still awesome enough to warrant the word awesome.

I have XP, because I have friends who know how to turn it into something else, they write bespoke software for a living, so they have literally pimped thier operating system.

I'm not interested in upgrading? NOT TALKING TO YOU EITHER. I was talking to all the people that had upgraded and had bits of software and computer die. The compatibility check points out if you can upgrade or not and how much needs replacing before you can.
