I love this game. I played it back when it was just on the PS2, talk about a hard game! But now I have the Newest one for the PSP and love it. Have not played it in a while and kinda forgot I had it, but I may get back into it. We should all party up some time and kick monster but!!!
I use to go with the Greatsword for the original game but once I switched to the PSP it seemed far slower. After playing around a bit I went with the Sword & Shield combo, nice mix of maneuverability and attack. I like to do the whole "here I am, no there I am, no here I am again" kind of play, rolling and jumping to and fro to get at a monsters weak points. I use full Azure Rathalos armour and a Blazing falchion SnS, looks pretty darn sweet and so far is the best I can make.
