C'mon now. Which one of those options actually sounds like fun? We going to do that one. If you don't understand what a good RP is, well stick around & see for yourself!

All I was saying is how a few people don't know what a good RP is, so that is why there are so many random ones that end up crashing, since they don't really have any support.

Well if you want you could read the thread. You'll be able to see everyones ideas to avoid that. I think it's way back on page one though, maybe that's how you missed it.

I probably did miss it, sometimes if what people write is boring, I just go to the bottom and post my 2 cents

You should have seen this next question coming... How do you know if it's boring without reading it first?
*EDIT* I'm just fuckin' with you... I don't know if you can pick up on that or not.

Ok so I managed to come up with two rules and two suggestions more or less. Although it's not much of an issue now, it may be later, I added the staple "spell out your words & try your best" rule. And the "keep the OOC in the OOC threads" rule. I also suggeted character sheets be filled out beforehand as well as doing your best to implement a dice based system as a way of going with the new forum, new RP board line of thought. I've already written them up & they are ready to go, almost. I'd like to add what the rest of the community would like to see implemented as well. The RP board will not be made until we can all agree on a set of rules. As a modless community, we need to work together on these kinds of things. So please lets the brainstorming think tank of RP rules begin!
er... continue!
I mean- continue, but faster!

-No Godmodding (You know, "I shoot him, his head flies off, and then I spin around, shoot the other guy then ask the other one where his boss is and he tells me that he's in a bunker 2 meters north of here and I kill him then I go there and blow it up TROLOLOLOL!")
-GM always has final say. Always.
-Try to post at least once a day, unless GM specifies otherwise.
-Don't be a Munchkin, Powergamer, Loonie or in general, a bad roleplayer.

You've showed us you're a tiger, you've shown us what you can do- I've read your ideas, Enigma. They're Grrrrreat! [/Tony] We should make a whole segment dedicated to the GMs. We haven't really implemented GMs like this before. This is our chance to change all that. Great ideas, lets hear some more!

Some of the stuff for the 'rules' I wrote up once could be good for a base I guess. But that was more like guidelines after all. Like providing a setting. EDIT- HereAux did some poor editing though, but I can't hold him to blame. I think he was on an iPhone, and I never bothered bothering him about it anyway. Cheers!

I made guidelines more or less as well. I think providing some sort of setting is essential to the RP This, & other duties of the GM, should be considered more of a rule. The others like: Do your best, spelling, grammar & creativity should be rules for everyone involved.
I suggested each GM handle parties of 5-6 at the most, & seek the aid of an assistant should that number increase. I also suggested that character sheets with actual stats and dice related RP's for the new forum. You can play how you prefer really, but expect to see more dice based real deal RPs from myself & a few others.

Definately agree with limiting the number of participants per roleplay. I was in one once that had about 30 members. Was fun but bloody confusing.

GM Rules- Pick/create a format/RP system, stick with it. Don't let the players take on any responsibilities of the GM. Seek a second GM or assitant should your RP exceed eight players. We are all stoked you made an RP, don't let us down. Put thought into your work. Grant players some creative license. If things don't go as planned, that's the way the mop flops.
Did I miss anything for the GM Rules?

Here's an Inquisitor forum where the In Character/Out Of Character threads have worked well: www.the-conclave.co.uk/forum/index.phpIf anyone was lookingfor rules, there isn't one. That's because Inquisitor is a roleplay game system, so people there are more used to roleplaying and have a basic idea of what is realistic/acceptable. ...
