Whilst the idea of a "Karma" voting system is a good one...
...does it have to be "Balls"?

Could this be changed to something else?

Plus, Karma has been played, and given the definition of the word a Karma point system doesn't make sense.

Ruling the default out, what would you change it to? Balls are symbolic. Like the moon, and the sun, and Testosterone levels.

I suppose we could change it to "Pats." Like pats on the back. Or Faps, if you want to get a little racy.
