I am Windows all the way, there are times where I see programs for Mac that look nice but there is always some thing 'less pretty' for Windows but 10x better.

I think it will be hard to upgrade as well.
My cousin does that stuff for work and he has said that when trying to upgrade, half the 32 drivers stay and try to load with the new 64 ones at the same time.. and it explodes!
I think the last part might have just been frustration, but um... duck behind your bed on reboot.

Ye, I'll probably consider saving up for a new comp instead. Taking the safe route.
Mircosoft has apparently decided to not let you upgrade for free anymore either, which was a Vista 32 exclusive last time I checked.

Vista. Not even sure what kinda, actually... still, I don't really use my laptop for gaming, so it's not a major issue for me.
Don't get Macs though. They do seem a fair bit overrated to me...

I think they are supposed to be or have been better for handling large picture files for manipulation.
I dislike Mac's because the designer replaced the 1's and 0's of the operating code with squiggles to make it his own.
kind of like you wanting your own make of car, so you build one, using wooden dowels instead of screws and bolts. Works about as well and is the reason there aren't a lot of Mac games in the gaming stores compared to PC games.
They have to be translated to Mac.

macs - a computer whoes processing can't keep up with it's own gui gimmicks. behind the crappy hardware and the crappy interface it's just a minux operating system kinda.
