This is about the ranking system. I like the idea about it being military ranks but putting "General" before it every time makes it seem weird...
e.g. "General Privates" "Genral Major" and, weirdest of all; "general General"
Also the amount of posts you need to get before ranking up seems absurd. For example I saw someone who had 15 posts as a General General. It would be better being more like the TTH ranking system; making the highest rank be at 500 posts.
On a similar note, I think the forum games thread should not count towards post counts...

I am surprised you haven't 'got it' yet.
There is a reason why Forum Game posts still count to your post count. And the message should have been clear from the ranks.
Think about it. There are three ranks. The highest is reached at 10 posts. What message might this have?
Simple; Post Count means nothing on New General. It is a worthless number, and reaching the highest rank means even more nothing so there is no reason to get into posting frenzies to achieve it. And the highest rank sounds so corny it isn't like you desperately want it anyway. The importance people put on post count on most forums is retarded and you see people being judged off it as if it means something, so in NewGen, it means nothing

There's no point in a ranking system, the only thing needed is a badge for the mods, but since, there is only like, one mod, there's no need for that either.

Technically there are three "mods"... myself, Trygon and Poly. They are so because I cannot fault either of them in the task they are set.
All three of us can make changes, but all three of us are subject to the same rules of change as you are. We also don't lock crap or delete crap or post annoying mod posts... but we might move some REALLY OBVIOUS movers I s'pose.
