Anyone know about the release date? it looks pretty much finished, but I pre-ordered Halo: Reach, so I won't have enough money to get it... poo.

2011 sometime. I think its still a ways off completion, I expect more than just orks considering a very sneaky peak at a Carnifex in one of the early videos.

Yeah, knowing relic they'll do a swap halfway through and you'll be fighting Eldar or Chaos or Nids or something.
Now, what I'm hoping for is good multiplayer. Depending on the races featured, it could be teams of Eldar vs. Orks or Muhreenz Marines vs. Chaos. Either class based with different teams having different advantages, or just making them identical but looking different.

I don't think it's finished. No game company is stupid enough to make a game where you fight the same kinds of enemies with the same weapons over... and over again, right?

I also liked fire warrior (This was before I played other games and before I knew what 40k was)
Now I can see why it is "Ehh" But I liked it at the time, and thats good enough!
